Research Analyst – Cross-Border Payments
Nigeria · Remote · Contract
AMI Payments helps banks, fintechs, remittance providers and payment companies test, benchmark and improve cross-border payment journeys into Africa.
We’re looking for a Research Analyst to build the evidence behind our insights. You will research payment corridors, providers and payout methods, analyse findings from controlled payment tests and translate complex information into clear, useful recommendations.
Working closely with the founders, you will help answer practical customer questions: Did the beneficiary receive the correct amount and payment details? Was the promised delivery time met? Where are the gaps, and what should improve?

- Produce concise research briefs, corridor profiles, reports and presentations for clients and internal teams.
- Track relevant market developments and identify opportunities for further investigation.
- Record sources, research dates and assumptions accurately, and handle client and beneficiary information responsibly.
